I have a new site just for zentangle-ing....if you want to check it out it is: leeanniszentangleiing.weebly.com come and look to see what's happening. In the meantime my photography has been limited to mostly taking the pictures of the tangles. My favorite of late is: Hope's Hobbit Hole! I made it especially because she requested it......the final product was this.....if you want to see my first try go to the other site.......I will try to find some new photos to inspire me!
I have been totally occupied with my zentangling lately......that is me the flitter. Here are an example of what I have been up to:
It is absolutely fun. I have joined a zentangle group on flickr.com and we all spend way too much time learning, sharing, and enjoying each other!
It has turned into winter after a wonderfully long fall. We have had snow before but this snowfall was followed by bitter cold and winds that drifted onto the roads causing slow driving home last night from work. This morning you can see the evidence of the wind in my backyard. I guess you could say that the wind was feeling playful. It is nice to have a bit of sun today. We have had to keep the wood stove burning constantly since Christmas....today we may just get by with Mr. Solar. I love it when the sun shines in!
Each day it droops a bit more. However, it only needs to last 3 more days and it is sort of endearing. I have chosen a few photos of ornaments I love.
More guests have arrived......or are they peeping Toms?
Today when I went to work I was sad to see the giant on the ground. I suppose the snow was too heavy for him to hold his ground any more. He will no longer grace the grounds of Western Park. Adieu my friend Adieu.
Okay....so Christmas vacation was to begin Wed Dec. 22nd at noon....well it actually began Dec. 21st in the morning for us here at home. The District decided to trust the roads enough to get the kids to school but then dismissed at noon. Funny! They didn't want 2 days to make up. Oh well...out here on the creek with no plow coming through my children were afforded an extra day. No problem with that! We are doing fine. They did have fun in the snow!
This morning the world was white with a layer of slush underneath the snow. My feet were wet and the roads where very slick but the trees at work were gorgeous. I hope you enjoy my attempt at capturing the moment.
